About

Search Rascal™ is a new service that allows you to track the top search results for keywords of your choice.

How it works

  1. Enter the search term or phrase you would like to begin tracking
All of the pages on our site have a large search box located at the top of the page. Simply enter your search term or phrase in the box and click “Generate Report.”
  2. View the report for your search term or phrase
After you click generate report, our rascal goes out to search engines including Google, Yahoo and MSN (Live Search) and capture limited information about the results for the search term or phrase entered. If you entered a new search term or phrase that we aren’t already tracking, your report will show data from today only. This information is then recaptured daily, allowing you to view comparison reports by day, week, and month. You can check back any time to see an updated report for your search term or phrase.

More features of the report

In addition to being able to view the top results for your search term or phrase, your report also shows the ranks for today and compares this number to data from the previous day, week or month. If the search term is new, we may not have accumulated enough data to show weekly or monthly reports. You’ll need to check back in a few days or weeks to view the expanded report.
